So let's take a minute to analyze this picture... there are a bunch of puppies in this garbage ridden alley, and I was quite simpathetic. Moving from left to right, there is a small puppy walking on the sidewalk, that leads to nowhere, probably in the best shape out of the bunch. Next we have a dead puppy, or sleeping in a very uncomfortable position, to which I was very appalled. Then center stage there is a puppy that first caught my eye, with cute ears like gizmo from Gremlins. Then I realized that his eyes were stuck shut with infection, his nose was somewhat of a boil, and his ears were flopped down because of big infections on his head.

Next, way in the background there is the smallest and probably cutest puppy, white and black, looking longingly at me like he needed a home. But a puppy sitting in garbage is kind of like cereal in spoiled milk, I like cereal a lot, but the whole thing is sour. Finally, there are two puppies fighting on the ground... they were fighting very slowly... like they were sick.



This was an awful find. It's not always tourist attractions and rainbows in China. Enjoy the Nuclear Factory pictures!

I need a new backpack

So, it's been a long time since I looked into the backpack game. I have realized, my Jansport backpack has served me well since about 8th grade. I can remember when I was at Sports Authority with my mom, and decided to spring for the better Jansport bag. She didn't think I needed it, with it's reinforced zippers and dual book compartments. So I ponied up half the money for it, which was hard earned back then mowing lawns and picking up sticks...

Anyway, I really want to get one of these new hiking minded backpacks, with taught mesh on the back, keeping the bag off of your back and allowing for max air flow. No more sweaty back bike rides! I just don't know where to go in china... I have seen so many online, but I need to try one of these babies on before I buy it. Who knows what kind of skinny timmy the bag is for... I might have mesh boundaries digging into my haunches... no deal.
